Any United Way of Rock River Valley donor (exclusive of any employer match) who gives a gift of:

  • $104-$155 will be automatically entered into the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes for 20 chances to win,
  • $156-$207 will be automatically entered in the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes for 30 chances to win.
  • $208-$259 more will be automatically entered in the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes for 40 chances to win.
  • $260-$311 more will be automatically entered in the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes for 50 chances to win.
  • $312-$363 more will be automatically entered in the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes for 60 chances to win.
  • $364-$415 more will be automatically entered in the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes for 70 chances to win.

2025/26 Sweepstakes Rules

With the 2025/26 Together We Thrive Sweepstakes, United Way of Rock River Valley Campaign, and all individual donors not affiliated with a company campaign return their employee/individual pledge form to the United Way of Rock River Valley by Friday, February 27, 2026. The United Way of Rock River Valley office is located at 612 N. Main Street, Rockford, IL 61103.

2025/26 Together We Thrive Sweepstakes

  1. Timing: This incentive promotion includes 2025/26 United Way of Rock River Valley (UWRRV) campaign donations made through 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on Friday, February 27, 2026. To be eligible for the 2025/26 Together We Thrive Sweepstakes, participants must be legal residents of Illinois, at least 18 years of age, AND possess a valid Illinois or Wisconsin driver’s license.
  2. Prizes: Winners will receive one of the nine prize packages below. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
    1. 1st Prize: Staycation Package for a two-night stay at Fairfield by Marriot (est. $411), brunch at Thunder Bay Grill (est. $56), lunch at Raising Cane’s (est. $25), and a gift card from Target (est. $50). Total value estimated $542.
    2. 2nd Prize: Personal Training and Sports Performance to transform your body and elevate your life. $500 towards experiences at Movement Fitness.
    3. 3rd Prize: Party Room provided by Embassy Suites, plus $250 for food and beverages for the party. Total value estimated $500.
    4. 4th Prize: $500 Shopping Spree at Meijer.
    5. 5th Prize: Grill Out Package including a Blackstone grill, care kit, and toolkit ($340 value) as well as food and beverage ($100 value). Total estimated value $440, donated by Lowe's and Costco.
    6. 6th Prize: Birthday Party Package at Flow, total estimated value $419.
    7. 7th Prize: Travel Vouchers for the beginnings of a trip from Rockford Airport and Lindstrom Travel, total value estimated at $200.
    8. 8th Prize: Massage at Massage Envy for 60 minutes, estimated value $130.
    9. 9th Prize: Manhood 101 Stanley FatMax Tool Bag 18" (value $50) and 14" Weber Smokey Joe (value $50) provided by an Anonymous donor and Home Depot. Total value estimated at $100.
  3. Eligibility: Employees and board members of UWRRV and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Only individuals/families are eligible for the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes; organizations are not eligible. Out-of-area campaigns that are processed by but not counted toward the UWRRV are not eligible. Designated donations to United Way of Rock River Valley from other United Way campaigns are eligible. Online entries will not be accepted. 
    a.    Entry without donation for the Together We Thrive Sweepstakes can be made by mailing (US Postal Service only) on 4”x6” cards (one entry per person) to United Way of Rock River Valley, ATTN: Together We Thrive Sweepstakes, 612 N Main Street, Rockford, IL 61103, containing name, address, phone number, and email. No other alternate methods of entry or entry delivery are eligible. 
  4. Entries: Entry letters must be postmarked AND pledge forms, eligible donations, and eligible employee lists must be received by UWRRV by 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday, February 27, 2026. UWRRV will not be responsible for individuals, companies, or other United Way organizations that fail to submit their employee pledge forms, eligible donations, designated gifts, or list of eligible employees by this date. UWRRV is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
  5. Drawing & Announcement: Together We Thrive Sweepstakes qualifiers will be drawn randomly by Friday, March 20, 2026, at the UWRRV office. Nine qualifiers and nine alternate qualifiers will be drawn for the sweepstakes. One eligible qualifier is allowed per sweepstakes entrant. If the potential qualifier does not meet the stated eligibility requirements or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the potential qualifier will be disqualified and an alternate qualifier (in the order they were pulled) will be selected.  The nine eligible Together We Thrive Sweepstakes qualifiers will then be randomly chosen and announced as First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, Fourth Prize, Fifth Prize, Sixth Prize, Seventh Prize, Eighth Prize, and Ninth Prize winners at our office. Qualifiers are not required to be present to win. The names of prize winners will be available after Friday, March 20, 2026, at www.unitedwayrrv.org. 
  6. Required Information for Tax Purposes: Winners receiving prizes valued at $600 or more are required to provide their home address and Social Security Number and must comply with these rules upon presentation of the prize.
  7. Release: By entering, all participants hereby agree to comply with these Rules, represent that he/she is eligible, and consent to the use of his/her name and/or photograph for publicity purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
    1. All entrants release UWRRV, and each donor company listed in section two above; their respective employees, directors, officers, and agents; their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies; and their respective advertising, fulfillment, publicity, and promotion agencies from any, and all claims or
    2. All entrants release UWRRV, and each donor company listed in section two above; their respective employees, directors, officers and agents; their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies; and their respective advertising, fulfillment, publicity and promotion agencies from responsibility for damages, losses or injuries, including death, personal injury or property damage, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize. 
  8. Receipt of Prizes: No substitution or transfer of prize or redemption for cash equivalent except by UWRRV due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. Limit: one (1) prize per person/household. UWRRV reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned, and to award the prizes as of that date as provided above. 
  9. Responsibility: Winners will be required to pay any applicable taxes, title transfer costs, and costs relating to the transactions, including but not limited to, federal and state income taxes. Participation in this promotion may affect the tax deductibility of your gift. You should consult your tax advisor for more detailed information.

  11. Entry Integrity: Those individuals who qualify for prizes are automatically and systematically (not manually) entered into the drawing as their pledges are processed. An Individual may contact the United Way office if they do not wish to participate in the sweepstakes. Participating in public sector campaigns do provide individual donor information, which is audited, so public sector qualifiers can be assured they will be included, and there is little room for human error. Companies that do not typically provide individual pledge information may submit a list of those employees who have qualified with individual donation amounts. Those names are added to the database of automatic qualifiers. Additionally, those people who submitted an entry outside of the automatic qualification process also are entered into the database. Although we cannot publish the list of all those who qualify, if a workplace campaign requests a list of qualifiers from their own company, UWRRV can provide it prior to the drawing, but after all pledges received by February 27, 2026, have been posted.
