Deanna Feggestad

Deanna Feggestad serves as United Way’s Office Coordinator, supporting internal operations, managing office logistics, and providing administrative assistance across departments. She brings over 15 years of experience in office administration, customer service, purchasing, and inventory management. Prior to joining United Way, Deanna worked at Rhyme in Janesville, WI.

Mishel Browning

Mishel Browning serves as United Way’s Community Resiliency Manager, a newly created role focused on strengthening the 211 Helpline and leading community initiatives to advance the organization’s Community Resiliency impact goals. She brings extensive experience in outreach, volunteer coordination, customer service, and office operations. 

Dan Berman

Dan has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood and Literacy Development, including as a teacher, program manager and administrator. He holds a B.S. in Education from Boston University, a M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University in Child Studies, and completed his post-grad in Advanced Educational Leadership with Harvard University, Dan is also an expert on early fatherhood engagement, previously running a non-profit program called “Who’s the Man?!” for new dads and their babies in Florida.

George Welitschinsky

 

George is committed to helping out his community and looks forward to doing so as the labor-focused Relationship Manager at United Way. He is a retiree from Chrysler and a proud member of UAW Local 1268. In his spare time, George likes to golf and watch sports. He is happily married to his wife Stacy, and has two children, Shelby and Drew. George joined United Way in November 2023.

Cherice Ullrich

 

Born and raised in Rockford, Cherice is passionate about making a lasting impact in her community. Cherice earned her Masters of Education in 2013 and has spent the last 14 years working in private secondary education. During this time she also led student community service initiatives at the high school level. She is excited to form new relationships and engage others in making a collective impact.

Kay Larrick

 

Kay is passionate about the work United Way of Rock River Valley is doing through its United for Literacy initiative. She says the positive impact it has on the children of Winnebago County energizes her to engage community members in supporting this vital work.
