The Achievement Advocate supports the Move the Middle initiative by working directly with area middle school students and staff in the school setting, utilizing a unique system to review attendance, behavior, course performance and social emotional data to identify students who need support to become on-track to graduate high school on time. Once a student is identified as off-track toward high school graduation, the Achievement Advocate meets with students, families and teachers to address barriers at home, at school and with peers and employ supports, interventions and community resources to help the student get back on track.
