History

United Way of Rock River Valley was founded in 1919 as the Social Services Federation. Volunteers worked to bring comfort and caring to families facing troubled times, as well as guidance and counseling to the youth in our community.

Our goal today remains much the same. United, we work together to develop strong families, raise successful children, and help those facing a crisis move forward.
