Now more than ever, individuals and families in our community need access to informationthat addresses their most critical needs. United Way 2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects callers with free information and referrals for community services.

United Way 2-1-1 is staffed 24/7 by trained staff and volunteers who will listen to your situation and quickly refer you to the most appropriate source of assistance. The information referral line employs a database comprised of a full range of community, social, and health services in Winnebago and Ogle counties.

United Way 2-1-1 is set to launch by mid-2012 in the Rock River Valley community. PATH, Inc., a partner in United Way 2-1-1, is currently adding organizations from Winnebago and Ogle counties to the 2-1-1 database.
